Additionally, I crafted a media project that seeks to showcase these ideas effectively. By sharing my work and ideas, I aspire to establish myself as a credible thought leader in the realm of digital learning and leadership through my final publication.

Compilation & Contributions to Your Learning

My journey through the Applied Digital Learning (ADL) master’s program has been transformative, challenging my preconceptions about learning and encouraging me to adopt a more dynamic and adaptive approach to both personal and professional development. As an accelerated ADL student, I have taken two courses simultaneously: Leading Organizational Change (EDLD-5304) and Resources for Digital Environments (EDLD-5317). Through active participation and collaboration in these subjects, I have gained a broader perspective and enhanced my leadership skills, inciting crucial conversations to provide motivation and feedback as well as discovering new digital resources for publication and media transfer. As I move forward, I am equipped not only with technical skills but also with a dynamic framework for continuous adaptation, critical thinking, and meaningful engagement in complex learning environments.

As I advance in my master’s degree, I recognize the importance of embracing the role of a thought leader in the field. I aim to share my knowledge, particularly in innovation and digital learning, to facilitate the growth of others. Expertise is not a prerequisite; rather, my experiences and insights can be equally valuable alongside formal research. Many individuals seek practical examples from peers who effectively utilize digital resources to enhance their learning experiences.

I actively participated in group discussions and used some of my discussion posts as reflective blog entries on my portfolio. I met all assignment and discussion deadlines. I also posted replies to my collaboration group members’ posts, as well as to other students in the course. My collaboration group consists of Alayna Hasley and Kieshawana Robinson. We have been working together since the beginning and have developed strong communication and camaraderie; it feels like we have been friends for a long time. We always stay in sync and communicate through text messages, phone calls, Google Docs, email, and the occasional phone call.

While the ADL program provided valuable learning, I see opportunities for growth in areas such as exploring digital learning technologies, which foster interdisciplinary connections and a richer educational experience. Ongoing self-reflection and continuous personal and professional development are also crucial for adaptability and effectiveness as educators. Additionally, I need to improve my APA citation skills and increase my online postings while adhering to academic standards.

The eight weeks unfolded rapidly, providing an in-depth and comprehensive exploration of a wide array of platforms. Additionally, we explored the nuances of digital publication, discussing how to effectively disseminate educational content in a way that reaches diverse audiences and meets their needs. Through hands-on projects and collaborative discussions, we analyzed best practices and innovative approaches that are essential for effective digital education. Overall, the Applied Digital Learning master's program has significantly transformed my personal and professional growth.
